Our Career Technical Education (CTE) program provides opportunities for learners to explore career pathways in middle and high school. A career pathway is a sequence of courses within a specific industry field. It should connect a learner’s interest with future career goals. CTE courses are the perfect place to develop skills and experience in a career-related industry.
Learners may take one CTE course to fulfill a graduation requirement in a certain subject or as an elective. To become a CTE pathway completer, the learner must complete both the year-long concentrator and capstone courses in their designated pathway. All middle school introduction courses are optional. High school introduction courses are optional and recommended to acquire a broad knowledge base.
CTE completion supports college admission and can be included on résumés, college applications or applications for internships or careers. Full-time iLEAD Online learners who complete a CTE pathway earn a cord at graduation.
All CTE courses are facilitated by credentialed CTE educators.
