Description

Anatomy and Physiology is a course that focuses on the investigation of the parts and processes within the human body, through the critical lens of real-life case studies and laboratory work.  The interplay between structure and function of the body systems will be addressed as we investigate organization of the human form, from cells to tissues, tissues, to organs and organ systems, and the body as a whole.  Microscopic investigations will accompany macroscopic looks into Public Health issues and human health conditions across cultures.  Online learning will include simulations, animations, videos, and lectures.  Ultimately, success in this course means a deeper understanding of the multifaceted world of human health, from the micro to the macro.
