Would you like to travel to exotic countries, be courtside interviewing NBA players or, perhaps even be assigned to the White House to interview the President of the United States?  Well then your first step is to learn the fundamentals of journalism.  This intro course in journalism is designed to equip you with basic journalism skills you will need to thrive in this competitive industry.  Some of the topics covered include fundamentals of journalistic writing, Associated Press style, and professional interview techniques.  In addition, you will study newspaper style, the ethics, law and history of journalism and then apply them in hands-on practice scenarios – reporting, interviewing, writing and editing.
