Students explore the fundamental principles of genetics. Topics include DNA, protein synthesis, mutations, sexual & asexual reproduction, genetic technologies, and epigenetics. Many concepts will be taught using medical applications. Labs include online gizmos, designing an experiment to see the effect of the environment on plants/insects, and some paper lab activities.
This is a great course to help learners transition to high school Biology.
