This course covers the California content standards for Social Sciences found here: English Language Arts Content Standards/California If you love a good scary story, this class is for you! Edgar Allan Poe is the original master of horror, and his stories have inspired countless authors, actors, movie makers and story tellers in general. We will use Poe’s stories and poems to learn about figurative language and develop critical thinking and writing skills.
