Coach’s Corner

Thank you families for your continued time and effort in meeting with us each learning period. We really enjoy our time connecting with you and making sure that we are all working as a team toward the same goals. Spring is a busy time as we prepare to wrap up the school year and look forward to what’s next!

It’s really essential we work together to meet and finish strong. Please be extra responsive to emails during this time of year. There is a lot to be done, but we will do it together.

State Testing Ongoing: As a public charter school, we follow state testing practices. Thank you to all of those who have signed up or communicated your testing needs to your coach. If you have NOT signed up yet or need a make up day with your coach, please let us know. We can ensure you can test in a location and on a day that works best for your busy schedule.

MAP Testing: One more! If you have NOT taken our internal MAP test 2 times this year, please be advised you will need to test in May. The good news is that this can be done from the comfort of your own home. Testing dates are: May 27-May 30, June 3-6 and June 10-13. Check your email for a link to sign up.

Seniors! Stay focused. Stay motivated. Stay in touch. We are here to help! Please contact our counselor, Pamela VanVelsir, for extra support and coaching to get through the finish line!

End of Year Meeting. Our last check in of the year is a special one. We’ll review your ILP goals for the year and reflect on them, celebrate your successes and growths this year, and look forward to next year to make sure you have a solid plan for continued growth toward your goals.
