Feb. 11: A Community Service Opportunity

There is a volunteer opportunity on Sunday, Feb. 11, 9 a.m. to noon at the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve. Reservations are suggested.
What is the opportunity? Helping to restore the wetlands. This includes getting your hands dirty (they have gloves :). You might be picking up trash, removing invasive plant species, or planting native species.
What do you need? Suggested items are: close-toed shoes, water, sunscreen and a hat. The organizers will have gloves and tools for volunteers to use.
Are there age restrictions? Kids under the age of 14 must have an adult with them.
