Prehistoric Innovation Meets Modern Tech at iLEAD Online

For the World History course “Awakening Humanity: The Journey of Civilization,” facilitator Tom Dyer challenged his learner to create a replica of an ancient tool or artifact. The project allowed learners to explore the significance of these historical objects in shaping human survival and culture. One learner, Makaio T., chose to replicate the Acheulean hand-axe, a multipurpose prehistoric tool. Instead of using traditional stone, Makaio brought a modern twist to the assignment by designing the tool digitally and 3D printing it.
