Prerequisites: Math 7A-D

Syllabus A Description:Rational Numbers, Exponents, Square Roots. This course will improve student understanding of basic mathematics concepts and develop essential skills needed to be successful in the high school mathematics curriculum. The standards taught include arithmetic, algebraic reasoning, basic geometry concepts, and fundamental statistics.

Syllabus B Description:This PreAlgebra course includes Rational Numbers, Exponents, Square Roots. This course will improve student understanding of basic mathematics concepts and develop essential skills needed to be successful in the high school mathematics curriculum. The standards taught include arithmetic, algebraic reasoning, basic geometry concepts, and fundamental statistics. This course is taken after PreAlgebra A and is provided to give the student the tools necessary to enter Algebra or Integrated Math 1.
