Description
In this series of four 8-week courses, learners will be introduced to the basics of Spanish. The goal is for learners to gain confidence and to begin to understand the basics of Spanish grammar and sentence structure along with vocabulary for everyday conversation. Through listening, reading, writing, and speaking practice, learners will strengthen their Spanish skills to prepare for Spanish courses at the high school level. Learners are assessed using a variety of formats such as quizzes, discussion questions, projects and more. Continuous effort to use the target language is essential.
Learners should complete the series in order starting with A, then moving on to B, C and D.
Spanish Middle School C: Hobbies, Likes/Dislikes, Food — learners will communicate about their hobbies outside of school, as well as likes and dislikes around food and other general topics
