Description

If you enjoy playing video games and are curious about what a career in game design entails, then this class is for you. Topics covered include exploring the game design career industry, career readiness, character and level creation, and the game engines that bring the games we love to life. During this course, you will learn about beginning a career in game design, explore colleges that offer studies in this field, and the basic usage of game engines to create your own characters, levels, and other elements in video games.

Note on Content: Some of the content includes shooter games but we tried to minimize this. If you feel uncomfortable watching any content that includes weapons/shooting, then please reach out to the instructor so they may accommodate you.
