Description
This year-long, project-based course introduces learners to the science, business, and career opportunities within the equine industry. Blending online research, creative media production, and real-world connections with equine professionals, learners explore anatomy, behavior, health care, facility design, and professional pathways across two semesters. Each block of study includes hands-on learning, career exploration, and skill-building projects that lead to a final portfolio. Learners engage in sustained inquiry, critique and revision, and reflective practice—all aligned with California’s CTE standards in Agriculture and Natural Resources.
