LCAP Meeting Tuesday, January 28
The Local Control and Accountability Plan, or LCAP, is a critical part of California’s new Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF). It’s a three-year plan that is updated annually. The plan describes the school district’s goals for learners as well as the specific actions (with expenditures) our school will take to achieve the goals and the means (metrics) used to measure progress.
The LCAP addresses the needs of all learners, including specific learner groups, such as English language learners, foster youth, and low-income learners.
The LCAP must address the state of California’s priority areas:
- learner academic achievement
- school climate
- learner access to a broad curriculum
- parental engagement
Our first community meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 28, at 6:30 p.m. through a virtual meeting.
Please join us to provide insight and suggestions for the LCAP. This is your opportunity to shape the direction and culture of the school.
To join the meeting, RSVP below.
A link with directions will be emailed to you prior to the meeting. If you are unable to attend the meeting but would like to give input, please email Allison with the subject line: LCAP Input.
