Course Facilitator Spotlight: Kellie Kontis

I’ve been doing my true calling for 19 years, and that’s working in education. I graduated from CSUN years ago with a bachelor’s degree in film and television and actually worked in that field for several years before entering the teaching profession. My heart was not in it, so I went on to earn my teaching credential and masters of education at Chapman University. I absolutely love teaching history, and I hope that my students feel excited about the subject as well. In addition, I have also taught English and the AVID elective. I have two teenagers who are very active, so I spend a lot of my time at soccer games, choir concerts and other activities that they are involved in. In my spare time, I enjoy baking, writing and music. I’m very excited to be working for iLEAD Online.
