Cartooning and Comic Book Production: Virtual Portfolio by Sofia H.
Cartooning and Comic Book Production is an exciting and immersive course offered by iLEAD Online, designed to provide a comprehensive introduction to the fundamentals of cartooning and comic book creation. Throughout the program, participants delve into essential design principles, explore the utilization of both traditional illustration tools and digital technologies, and master the intricacies of sequential storytelling to craft their own unique comics.
The curriculum encompasses a wide range of skills essential to the comic creation process, including writing, character development, story construction, illustration techniques, digital design, color theory, lighting effects, and print media formatting.
As part of this course, facilitator Jen Turnbull’s learner Sofia Hernandez has meticulously curated a virtual portfolio showcasing her original artwork across various mediums, including digital, pencil, watercolor, and marker. With Sofia’s generous permission, we are delighted to share her virtual portfolio for inspiration and admiration.
