Instructor: Cristie Platt

Hello! My name is Cristie Platt and I am a coach and facilitator at iLEAD Online. I taught Kindergarten in a traditional in person setting for six years before I had my own children, and now I’m so excited to be back teaching 1st grade online! I graduated from UCSB with a communications degree before earning my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. I have been an avid volunteer at our local school district, taking on roles from classroom helper to PFA President. I have three children and my favorite time is when we are all together, whether it be on vacation or just hanging out at home. A perfect day for me would be spending time at the beach with my family and a good book; I love to read! I am passionate about connecting with learners and meeting the individualized needs of every student. I believe we all learn and grow differently. I am excited to be a part of the iLEAD team, and can’t wait to explore First Grade Adventures with my learners.
