Now through Jan. 28, you can see the Antarctic as it looked 100 years ago during the trans-Antarctic expedition. Sir Ernest Shackleton led this journey, and it was documented with photographs taken by Frank Hurley. Hurley’s work and some artifacts from the expedition will be on display.

For those wishing to do some research ahead of time, there are many sources of information online about Shackleton — including a highly rated documentary, “Endurance.”
