Staff Spotlight: Kelsey Evenson, Academic Coach

Growing up in a traditional school system was always a challenge for an ADHD learner like me. One thing that always inspired me to excel was meaningful social interactions and relationships with facilitators. Having someone who truly cared about my success fueled me to be the best learner I could be. As I pondered my college major, I knew that expanding my understanding of society, its citizens, and their relationships was at the heart of my interests.

I recently graduated from University of California, Los Angeles, with a degree in Sociology that has significantly changed the way I understand our American community, its qualities, inequalities, and unrivaled potential for change. I am now able to implement this knowledge into countless environments involving people of countless demographics. As a coach, my primary objective is to create meaningful relationships with learners and implement the core principles of the iLEAD culture to profoundly impact their personal growth.
