Recorder Karate for Lower School Music
Designed to teach learners how to play the recorder at an introductory level, this course offers colored “karate belts” for each progressively more difficult tune learners play. Learn to read, write, and play musical notes and understand note values. Recommended for 3rd-7th grade.
Foreign Languages
Learning a second language expands a learner’s critical thinking and problem-solving skills. We encourage our learners to add a foreign language to their schedule.
Elementary School and Middle School learners can take Japanese, Spanish, or French.
In addition to those three languages, high schoolers may take Mandarin.
Last week, families were invited to Movie Night, where they were able to virtually gather and watch the acclaimed anime My Neighbor Totoro. It was played with Japanese audio and English subtitles. If you missed last week’s viewing, stay tuned for another opportunity soon.
High School Health
To ensure that learners are making the correct choice for their health class, HERE is a video created by iLEAD Online facilitator Erin Wade. She walks families through each course and presents a detailed explanation.
