In this quarter you will continue your study of geometry, now diving into circles, composite figures, and three-dimensional objects. Then you will switch gears and get back into statistics, focusing on probability and samples and populations. Through the first six weeks of the quarter, you will complete assignments (drills), activities (real-world applications), and class discussions. In the last week, you will work on your final project, in which you will learn how to tell lies using statistics, and why you should never trust a statistic that you meet in the real world.
