This course explores the Egyptian empire from the great pyramids of the Old Kingdom to the conquests of the New Kingdom. This exploration of Egyptology encourages students to dive into Egyptian culture, architecture, religion and myth. Students will learn how to evaluate sources, process historical information and interpret different kinds of artifacts and documents. At the same time, we will get to imagine what it might have been like to live in one of the most famous civilizations in history!
