This is an advanced-level course for the Japanese language. Learners will continue to use what they have learned in previous courses with a greater focus on conversational speech, advanced grammar, and complex characters. In this class, learners will gain fluency by learning vocabulary, reviewing personal lessons, and watching virtual media. Throughout the course, learners will learn about Japan and gain cultural awareness. The class includes creative projects for students to show off what they have learned. Prospective learners should have completed Japanese 1 & 2 courses, and have the ability to read and write Hiragana, Katakana, and some basic Kanji characters.
