This fun and engaging course will provide an introduction to the basics of cartooning and comic book production. The class will address the principles of design, the use of traditional illustration materials as well as digital tools and concepts of sequential storytelling to create original comics. Learners will develop skills in writing, character development, story development, illustration, computer design, color, lighting, and print media design.
