A Long Walk to Water is a dual narrative that tells the stories of Salva and Nya. The story takes place in Sudan and shares the struggles of the war and the lack of clean water. Throughout the eight blocks, we will focus on the different elements of a story (setting, conflict, point of view, theme). We will also learn how to write responses using the RACE method (Restate the questions, answer the question, cite a quote to support your answer and explain the quote).
