Seeking School Board Members

business meeting

Have you thought about volunteering as a public school board member, or do you know someone who has? Charter schools are required to have community members and educational partners govern the school. Although the board members do not participate in day-to-day decision making, their role is vital and required by the school and learners. Public school board members serve by attending monthly board meetings. They set overall policy, based on the organization’s mission and vision and have overall fiduciary responsibility for the activities of the entity.
