Astrocamp

3-Day Overnight Trip

AstroCamp is a hands-on physical science program with an emphasis on astronomy and space exploration. Our classes are designed to inspire learners toward future success in their academic and personal pursuits. With a focus on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM), AstroCamp meets the science content standards for California. Individual exploration and discovery are at the heart of AstroCamp’s educational philosophy. In addition to its academic value, another major benefit of attending AstroCamp is the camp experience. While camp is fun, exciting, and educational, it also teaches children practical life skills. By working in small teams to accomplish goals, they learn to get along with others in a group living situation and forge stronger friendships. The very nature of the experience encourages personal responsibility, initiative, and independence. Camp is an opportunity to develop character.
