Description

Foundations in Visual Art is an introductory course in the elements and principles of art and design. This course is a UC f credit elective course. This course combines art history, appreciation, and analysis, while engaging in hands-on creative projects. You will complete lessons that will introduce major periods and movements in art history while focusing on masterworks and the intellectual, technical, and creative processes behind those works. Most importantly, you will complete studio lessons that provide opportunities for drawing, painting, digital illustration, graphic design and other creative endeavors.
