Description

This fun and engaging course will provide an introduction to the basics of Cartooning/Comic Book production. The class will address the principles of design, the use of traditional illustration materials as well as digital tools and concepts of sequential storytelling to create original comics. Students will develop skills in writing/character/story development, illustration, computer design, color/light, and print media design. This course is part one of what will be a three year course pathway. This course will apply the Career and Technical Education standards for Arts, Media and Entertainment Industry Sector, with a focus on the Design, Visual, and Media Arts Pathway.
