Tip of the Week: Todoist

Todoist is a popular app that will help learners stay organized. It works on a variety of devices and allows users to track productivity. With the free version, students can create lists and sub-lists of tasks that can be scheduled daily or weekly, enter recurring events, prioritize assignments, and create project groups of up to five people.

If a student (or parent) is looking for more organizational tools, the premium version costs $29 annually and offers advanced features such as entering target dates to complete assignments (this is especially handy for long-term projects), set up reminders via email or iCal, upload files, and more.

YouTube has several videos posted if you want to learn more about Todoist. It is an excellent alternative to a paper-based planner, and both versions have organizational tools that our learners may find beneficial.
