Attention, Families of 4th Graders: Enjoy California State Parks’ Free Pass
Did you know California 4th graders can explore California’s amazing state parks for free? Thanks to California’s Outdoors for All Initiative, every 4th grader can get a Free Fourth Grade Pass!
- Who gets in? You, up to three adults, and all the kids in your car!
- Where can you go? Fifty-four incredible state parks across California, from giant redwood forests to beautiful beaches.
- When can you use it? Your pass is valid all school year long, right through August 31 after your 4th grade year!
- How do you get your pass? Visit ReserveCalifornia.com to set up a quick profile. Your free pass will be emailed right away! You can print it out or keep it on a phone to show the park ranger when you arrive.

Our Family Guidebook includes the following Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Policy:
The Governing Board recognizes that suicide is a major cause of death among youth and should be taken seriously. In order to reduce suicidal behavior and its impact on learners and families, the Director(s) or designee have developed preventive strategies, intervention and postvention procedures. The purpose of this policy is to protect the health and well-being of all learners by having procedures in place to prevent, assess the risk of, intervene in, and respond to suicide.
In order to initiate access to available pupil mental health services, you may contact the following mental health provider: emilie.evenson@ileadonline.org.
A minor who is 12 years of age or older may consent to mental health treatment or counseling services if the minor is mature enough to participate intelligently in the outpatient services or counseling services. The professional person treating or counseling the minor is required to consult with the minor before determining whether involvement of the minor’s parent or guardian would be inappropriate. These service providers can bill Medi-Cal as appropriate.

Grades 3-5, Mark Your Calendar for a Lunch Party Every Tuesday and Thursday!

In-N-Out Burger Tour with iLEAD Online: RSVP by September 10
iLEAD Online 1st-8th graders, join us for a fun, hands-on learning experience at In-N-Out Burger!

Learners will get an exciting behind-the-scenes look at how a restaurant operates while exploring topics like business, history, food, careers, teamwork, and economics.
During the tour, learners and iLEAD Online staff chaperones will have the opportunity to go behind the counter, while parents/guardians are welcome to relax in the dining hall and order food while the tour takes place.

iLEAD Online families of TK-8th graders, join us for a picnic in the park! Join us for a delightful day brimming with sunshine, joy, and a lovely picnic in the park. Please bring your own snack/lunch. Bikes, scooters, and any play equipment are encouraged.

We are excited to invite you to our TK – 12 Pumpkin Patch Meetup!
It’s going to be a fun-filled day complete with picking your own pumpkin, visiting farm animals, and taking a farm tour.

We are excited to invite our 11th and 12th graders to apply for a unique leadership position: Learner Ambassador!
Learner Ambassadors share their unique perspectives on school life, helping to inform our board and leadership about the learner experience. It’s an incredible opportunity to develop real-world leadership skills, engage with school governance, and make a meaningful impact.

Earn College Credits in High School: Dual & Concurrent Enrollment at iLEAD Online
Did you know iLEAD Online learners can earn college credit while still in high school?
We are excited to share opportunities for our learners to get a head start on their higher education, experience college-level coursework, and save significantly on future tuition costs. Here is an overview of the two programs available to iLEAD Online learners:
Concurrent Enrollment
- School Choice: Learners can enroll at any California Community College of their choice.
- Process: Learners apply and complete enrollment independently (families must reach out directly to the college for enrollment questions or updates).
- Cost: Families are responsible for any applicable fees and the cost of textbooks/materials.
Dual Enrollment
- Partner School: Antelope Valley College.
- Cost: Classes are completely free, and the cost of required textbooks and materials is fully covered.
- Peer Setting: Courses are designed specifically for high schoolers.
- Format: Most classes are asynchronous, though some may include a live Zoom component.
